Classes a minimum 8 HOURS of CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION and RANGE QUALIFICATION.

CLASS LOCATION:

Richmond, Kentucky 40475 just off I-75 Exit 97
Pre-Requisites: NONE
Short Description: This course is a required course to receive a KY CCDW Permit and is approved by the Commonwealth of Kentucky for a KY CCDW PERMIT
More Details:
The course is a minimum five (5) hours plus Range Time and is conducted by NRA Certified Instructors, USCCA Certified Instructors, KSP Approved Instructors, or KY Certified Instructors in a classroom and at a shooting facility.
Class begins at 8:00 AM PROMPT
The student will learn the following topics:
1. Firearm Safety and Range Safety
2. Basic Nomenclature of Firearms
3. Basic Marksmanship Skills
4. Safely Cleaning of Firearms
5. Live Range Firing of at least 20 cartridges
6. Levels of Awareness
7. Conflict avoidance
Bring the following items to class:
1. Your pistol (revolver and/or semi-automatic)
2. A minimum of 50 rounds of factory new ammunition in the original factory box and do NOT load any firearms or magazines.
3. Bring appropriate eye and ear protection.
4. Wear a shirt that buttons up to your throat, shoes covering your entire foot, and a hat with a bill.
Holsters are not allowed in the classroom or at the range.
Directions from Lexington, Kentucky to the class location:
1) Take I75 south from Lexington to Exit 97 across the KYRiver
2) Take Exit 97 and turn left(east) at the end of the rampand cross I75
3) Turn right on the gravel road behind The Allen Companylocated just over I75 on the right
4) Follow the road to the end at the long building with ared roof
5) Classroom is at the 'L' in the building
Directions from Richmond, Kentucky to the class location:
1) Take I75 north from Richmond to Exit 97 before crossingthe KY River
2) Take Exit 97 and turn right(east) at the end of the ramp
3) Turn right on the gravel road behind The Allen Companylocated just off the ramp on the right
4) Follow the road to the end at the long building with ared roof
5) Classroom is at the 'L' in the building
